PDF Editor AI was started by a small team that got tired of watching sensitive documents get casually uploaded to cloud PDF tools. We wanted a tool that could honestly say "your file never left your device" — and then prove it in the network tab.

So we built one. PDF Editor AI is a static web app powered by pdf-lib and PDF.js. It runs entirely in your browser. There is no backend that touches your file because there is no backend, period.

We are funded by paid Pro and Team plans, never by selling data we never collected.
