You can verify this by opening DevTools and watching the Network tab — there is no outbound request carrying your document. Disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working. There is no account, no telemetry on your files, and no third-party data processor in the loop.

Do my PDF files leave my device?
No. PDF Editor AI runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is opened from your local disk, processed in memory inside the browser tab, and the resulting PDF is saved back to your device. No file is ever uploaded to a server, queued, logged, or stored. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works.
Can I add an image watermark?
The current version supports text watermarks. Image watermark support is on the roadmap and will remain fully local.
